LESLIEVILLE REAL ESTATE TORONTO
LESLIEVILLE The new Trendy Place to Live in Toronto Ontario with quaint homes, houses and some Leslieville real estate properties are over 100 years old. This
Toronto urban chic location is a hip and cool place to live with new families moving into the area.
It began as a small Village in the 1850's around the
George Leslie & Sons Nurseries. This is how it got its name. One
of the first buildings was the Leslieville Public School and its
first Principal Alexander Muir composed "The Maple Leaf Forever".
It was inspired by a Maple Leaf landing on his jacket. That Maple
Tree still stands today at Laing Street and Memory Lane. It has
become Leslieville's most cherish and famous landmark and has been
designated with its own Historical Plaque. The Wall above has been
painted to commemorate Mr. Muir and The Maple Leaf.
Leslieville is
identified South of the Tracks just North of Gerrard, West of
Coxwell Avenue, North of Eastern Avenue and East of Carlaw. Green
Symbolic street signs proudly announce Leslieville Real Estate
